DESCRIPTION:October 2–4\, 2026 | Talimena State Park – Talihina\, Oklahoma \nLooking for an excuse to get out of town\, put some miles on the bike\, and spend a fall weekend in one of Oklahoma’s best riding areas? \nOur friends with the Central Oklahoma BMW Road Riders (COKBMWRR) are heading back to Talimena State Park for their annual campout\, October 2–4. \nLocated near the base of the Talimena Scenic Byway\, about seven miles north of Talihina\, the park puts riders within easy reach of great paved and off-road routes through southeastern Oklahoma and Arkansas\, with some pretty incredible scenery along the way. If the timing cooperates\, there may even be some fall color starting to show. \nThe weekend is centered around camping\, riding\, and spending time with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. The group plans to have coffee and biscotti available at the pavilion each morning\, along with a full breakfast and dinner on Saturday. Donations toward the meals are appreciated. \nCamping costs will depend on the type of site or hookups you need. According to the organizers\, camping without hookups may be available at no charge\, but riders should confirm current camping information and availability directly with Talimena State Park.
